I took this photo with a Nikonos II camera using ASA 400 black and white film in 1973. The photo took first place in the contest offered by the International Film Festival that year. Thanks to Janet, the diver.

Thank you so much, Joy. And yes, this section of the bay is, or was, very peaceful. Just deep enough--maybe 20 feet--to feel a gentle sway from the waves above. I miss it.
